Zinc selenide ZnSe coating material
Purpose: zinc selenide has high thermal shock resistance, making it an optical material in high-power CO2 laser system. Hardness is only the 2/3 of multi-spectral ZnS, the material is soft and easy to produce scratches, and the material refractive index is larger, so it needs to be plated on the surface of high hardness anti-reflection film to protect and obtain a higher transmittance. Zinc selenide material used to make the total reflection mirror, half mirror, beam expander, flat field lens, the infrared lenses, far-infrared size 10.6 Um/CO2 laser power on all kinds of flat convex lens, the concavo-convex crescent cut lens, gold plated mirror, circularly polarized lens, beam expander, flat field lens, etc. Widely used in laser, medicine, astronomy, and infrared night vision and other fields.
Technical docking: 1. CVD: high purity argon carries zinc vapor into the reaction chamber and is deposited by excessive selenium vapor vapor. 2. PVD (selenium rich) : the mixture of selenium and zinc was heated in a quartz crucible, and ZnSe was deposited on the molybdenum plate in the middle section under the protection of argon atmosphere.
